The day of “Love”. This year I spent my Valentine’s Day with 12 lovers. I consider my self a lucky girl. As the facilitator of this couple’s retreat, we spent 2 days nestled in a quiet cabin in Helen, Ga. The theme from the book “Love Dare”. A 40 day challenge to practice unconditional love in various aspects of the couple’s real life situations.
Intimacy plays a very important role when it comes to loving another unconditionally. So it was important for us t learn as a group but, to have a space to learn as a couple in private time. Activities as a group included DIY class, cooking, a trip to the winery, candle light dinner. It was necessary to separate the men and women. Cigars and an open conversation with the husbands at a cozy cigar shop gave me a better perspective of their views on romance and sex. My wives took the cake in a super early morning mini Seduction School lesson, lap dances, strutting in heels, and learning what it takes to build desire. The evening Sex School session gave us an opportunity to introduce a few toys and tips to revamp the bedroom routine. Plus, tips on making it happen regardless of mood and schedules.
Although, it was a lot of fun getting to know the group I cherished the one on one (usually late night) chats most of all. The interesting part about this group was that they were honest with themselves on what the high and low points were in their relationship. Not being afraid to pull me to the side for a little advice when needed. The first step is definitely having a desire to do better for your mate.
I am grateful for meeting such a lovely group of loving wives and adoring husbands. It is honorable that they cherish each other enough to take time away from their kids and careers in nu0rish and invest in their marriages.
XO, Harley
